Matcha Green Tea Pudding

(4 servings)

1 ¾ cup milk
¼ cup fresh cream
⅓ cup granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon matcha green tea
2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
1 ½ Tablespoon water


  1. Put water in a small bowl, add gelatin powder, and set aside.
  2. Sieve the matcha and mix with the granulated sugar.
  3. Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat.
  4. Turn off the heat just before boiling, add 1 and 2, dissolve the gelatin, then add the cream and mix.
  5. Strain 4 through a mesh and let it thicken while cooling the bowl with ice.
  6. When the mixture has thickened, put it in a bowl and refrigerate until firm.
